TORRE BELVEDERE
The project of the Belvedere tower to be placed in the park of Magenta had to possess the required characteristics: a staircase connecting the three levels, a lift for disabled people (comply with the rules of accessibility and visibility)the design of a space outside the actual tower, on the ground floor toilets, the central floor had to present the Belvedere room and the last level a terrace from which you can observe the view. The height had to be between 8 and 11 meters, while the sides between 4.4 and 6.6 meters.

The initial idea of the project was that of three intersecting solids, referring to the “Casa a riva San Vitale” by Mario Botta (Lake Lugano, 1971-73), then later, through the study of the painting by Paul Klee, I gave a more dynamic shape to the complex by modifying some walls by tilting them as designed by the artist. Later I added the top of the tower, the one that includes the terrace with views inspired by the “4×4 House” private residential house of Tadao Ando (Tarumi-ku, Kobe, Hyogo, on the Inland Sea coast in Japan, 2004).
